About 4,860 acres of marsh, sloughs, and bottomland forest on the Butler–Stoddard county line, managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation mainly for migrating and wintering waterfowl. The state assembled it from 1944 to 1988, including a 1,244-acre duck club bought in 1978. Come in fall and winter for ducks and geese, and the rest of the year for fishing and birding.
